Note: You may be eligible for housing or rental assistance programs not covered on this page.

Search the Housing Listings
This tool searches for rental buildings across BC. Each building will note where to apply, either through the Housing Registry or directly to the housing provider.
- Go to Housing Listings
- Select your preferred location and refine your results with the filters
- A list of buildings will be displayed. View them as a List View or Map View
- Save the buildings that interest you. Click on Saved Listings to print or email the list of saved buildings
- View the Building Details card, it will note How to Apply, either:
- through the Online Application tool (The Housing Registry) - note theBuilding Code; or
- directly to the housing provider – note contact info and website address
Tip: To increase your chances of obtaining a unit, apply to all the buildings that meet your needs.

If eligible for Market Rent Housing, follow these steps to apply:
- Fill out the Market Rent Housing Application Form
- Review the instructions and note the documents you need
- Complete the application form and submit
If eligible for Subsidized Housing, follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the Housing Registry – Online Application to start a new application online. If you prefer to apply by mail, please print and fill out the Housing Registry Application Form
- Review the instructions and note the documents you need
- Complete the application form and submit
Note: Not all housing providers use The Housing Registry. You may need to apply directly to a housing provider. These are noted in The Housing Listings tool under How to Apply on each building details card.
